C7800 seems to be stuck rebooting
Hi all, I just got a refurb C7800 AC3200 and I'm trying to see if it needs to be sent k.
I went through the xFinity app process to switch to this router from the gateway, and it seemed like maybe it was starting to work, but the xFinity app didn't connect to it. I turned it off and got the old gateway set backup, and I had a suspicion, so I did a factory reset (held the button for 7 seconds). Now when I power the unit on, all the LEDs will light, then the just the USB and Ethernet are lit, then those plus the power and antennae lights, then just the power and antennae. Finally the Up/Downlink and Internet LEDs will light, but I don't have the cable plugged in at that point. It cycles through the power/antennae and the up/downlink and internet LEDs at least once before seemingly doing the whole thing again. I've left it in this state for about an hour to no avail. I did the 30-30-30 trick and this is still happening. I've left the cable disconnected as I wanted to connect to the management page via Ethernet but it never seems to give an IP or acknowledge that anything is connected.
Is there any option to try other than returning?
Thanks for your help!

You have posted your message in the section of this community given over to Nighthawk WiFi Routers. (This is easily done, given Netgear's impenetrable community structure.)
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers about your hardware, in the appropriate section for your device. That's probably here:

I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
