Change land code

I've found out that the land code in my router is set to DE and I'm living in Sweden.

I've heard that this can cause interenence with outher wireless network in the neighborhood.

My first question is if that is true or false.

If it's true, is there a way of changing the land code in my router?

    What's the router?

You may have given the forum this information, but it has not passed it on to the rest of us.

You will probably find that it has a setting for Europe so there will be no choice for Sweden or Germany.

That's correct. There is an option called Europe and that's what's selected as well.

I have a Mac and I've runned the integrated wifi analyze program.

The report from the analyze told me that there could be an interference between differnet routers if they have different land codes.

Then I found out that it was mine that uses DE as land code.

Apple gives believes that its users know nothing. So if you do know what you are doing it provides useless messages. That is its excuse for charging much more for its hardware

Wait until you see problems before you worry about this.
