CONNECTION SETTINGS WITH 3DS AND MY NETGEAR ROUTER

TRYING TO HOOK UP TO MY NETGEAR WNR2000 ON MY GAMEBOY 3DS SO I CAN ORDER GAMES ON-LINE.  I KNOW THE SSID BUT NOT SURE OF SECURITY SETTINGS.  I BELIEVE ITS WPA-PSK (TKIP) BUT THERE ARE OTHER OPTIONS.  THEN IT ASKS FOR THE SECURITY KEY.  WHERE CAN I FIND THAT NUMBER?

    What asks for the security key? That's usually the password for your wifi. Unless you have changed it, the default password is on the label on the thing.

     

    Don't expect a lot from your old router. It dates back to 2009 and has very old technology.

     

    Manuals are always a good place to start.
