Disable 5ghz Antennas on a temp basis: How?

I have a wifi-enabled device that is failing to connect to my 5ghz antenna while doing an upload and the device maker said I need to disable 5ghz and use the 2.4ghz channel instead. &nbsp;Where in the app does this setting take place? How do I go about temporarily disabling this antenna until the device is able to upgrade?

1. the orbi devices don't have the ability to disable 5ghz entirely.&nbsp;
2. what device is it that you're having issues updating?
