DL speed at half , hard wired to pc

 My DL speeds are at half speed throught he router. I can connect directly to the pc from the modem and get 235mb dn. I connect through the router I get 95mb dn .?
 This wasn't always the case. I checked speeds a couple months ago and was fine. 
 I rolled back firmware to an earlier version , didn't help.
 I turned off Qos ,didn't help

 Any help would be apreciated..

    Changed DNS server on router to 8.8.8.8   8.8.4.4 .. Speeds are back up 230,s dn..

    So what NG router are you referring too? 

     

    What Firmware version is currently loaded?
    What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

     

    Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

       The router is a Nighthawk r7000
        The firmware is V1.0.11.100_10.2.100

        And yes, I did a factory reset..
       The Modem is an Arris TM1602A

        Have you powered OFF the ISP modem and Router for 1 minute or longer then power back ON the modem then router?

        Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
