Do I need to upgrade my AC1750 (R6700)? Having to reboot often.
I have an older (4 years old) Nighthawk AC 1750 that has worked well until I added some hardware to the system in June. Since then I have had certain devices drop off the system and forcing a reboot....

Possible with all you have connected the 6700 is getting bogged down and a newer router that can handle things would be better.
How big is the home? Sq ft.
Might try the RAX50 first. If thru Amazon you have 15 test to test it out and if it doesn't work well, return it.
RAX120 would be OK as well.
The house it self is a bit over 2000 square feet and is single story.
When ADT was out to check out what I needed, they did some kind of signal test to see if the 6700 could get out to the garage door where one of the security cameras would live and the signal was just on the edge of being strong enough, hence the purchase of the the Nest router and access point.
I am no techie and while I do not know how it was tested, I trust the ADT technician that did the test as I have used him before. I know it has something to do with minus decibals or something. He showed me on the app he was using.
