Dual Gigabit Ethernet Port Aggregation R8500 - Bridging in AP mode.

my qusetion is about Dual Gigabit Ethernet Port Aggregation R8500 - Bridging in AP mode.

if i have a VERY lagre place and want the system to basically look like:

cable modem bridged>> 1st R8500 router mode using static IP>> 2nd R8500 bridged/AP mode

can I use the dual ethernet aggregate ports to connect these two R8500's???

Ok so if it did work what would you gain from it? The WAN port is 1000m and since you're using them you cannot use them for a NAS.

My Nas does support 802.3ad and I'm using them. If these ports are used in AP Mode time and updates won't work because they are routed via WAN port.

I have no plans for a NAS, I am only looking for the most bandwidth and speed I can get from primary X8 to secondary X8 bridged downstream.

for example, if i were using a MX100 and MR53 I could use the multigiabit ports to all downstream waps...

and so this thing only allows 1g at the wan but then has multigigabit ports (that at that point are useless) ????
