Email router logs via Yahoo

Trying to set up email for router logs and when I press Send Log, the log reports “ email failed] (#AUTH005) Too many bad auth attempts.”. I understand Yahoo doesn’t trust it but how can I enable this for sending the logs through Yahoo?

Some SMTP servers are more picky than others. If Yahoo refuses you, try another free alternative. GMail worked the last time I looked.

    I use smtp-mail.outlook.com

Yahoo and ymail are poor choices for email period.  I wouldn't even use them as a junk account.

As michaelkenward mentioned, there are several other alternatives.  I have used both Gmail and Comcast successfully.

To be successful, you need to confirm the following:

      -Relay must be supported

-That you have the account configured properly (example) Gmail requires that you enable "allow connection by less secure apps".

      and

-That you have configured the Router properly with the correct SMTP information, username, password, encryption and port.

My Logs are mailed once a week, Sundays at 8AM.  Below it what you will see in the log when mail is properly configured.
