Ethernet Cable for Nighhawk R8000 - What to buy

I am far from a techie.   I need a longer cable that goes from my computer to my Router.  What kind of cable should I buy?   Help!!!

    Nowadays users should buy at least cat6 cables or better cat7 cables!

  I need help.  I need a longer ethernet cable from my computer to my router (Blackhawk R8000).  I do not know what to purchase.  Can someone tell me specifically what I need?  Thanks.
