ExpressVPN on Nighthawk R6900 Wi-Fi Router
ExpressVPN offers firmware for the following Netgear routers:
Netgear R6300v2
Netgear R6700v3
Netgear Nighthawk R7000
Netgear Nighthawk R7000P
I would like to install the firmware on my Nighthawk R6900. I believe that the R6900 firmware is functionally equivalent to the R7000, however would like to have more certainty of that before I attempt it.
I would appreciate any feedback.

installing 3rd party firmware to a router that isn't the same is a good way to brick your device.
and you'd find more info on the expressvpn site for help installing their firmware to a stock router.
