**FIXED** Unable to join 2.4GHz Network

Question

I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out why I'm unable to join my 2.4GHz network.

I have a NETGEAR R7450 with FW 1.2.0.92

Simply removing the period "." in the SSID name fixed my problem.

Old Name: DAMATO 2.4GHz

New Name: DAMATO 24GHz

Please let me know if this helps anyone else.

You should also get rid of spaces. Officially, only dashes are allowed (-)

I've never seen a issue with spaces...i use one. Been using one for same SSID name for years. Special Characters can be problematic.
