Frontier FIOS Compatibility

I am switching from Spectrum as the ISP to Frontier FIOS.  The line comes in to the house over a fiber optic cable to a connection box on the outside.  From the connection box it is connected to my copper wired network in the house.  Frontier offers a ARRIS NVG468MQ as a Gateway.  All of my research so far indicates that the C7000 is not compatible with FIOS but Frontier connected the ARRIS NVG468MQ to their MoCA Ethernet Adapter FCA251.  That tells me that Optical interface connection is on the outside of the house!

Question 1.  Do I actually need the ARRIS as a gateway?  Or will the C7000 work with a MoCA connection if properly configured?

Question 2.  If the C7000 will not work with Frontier FIOS, then can it be configured as a simple gateway to the internet and can I configure the R7000 to function as my Wi Fi router?

Question 3.  I have an original Verizon Actiontec MI424WR Rev 1 Modem router will that work with Frontier FIOS?   I understand that when Frontier took over from Verizon in the Tampa Bay region it refused to buy the Verizon software and wrote its own.

Question 1.  Do I actually need the ARRIS as a gateway?  Or will the C7000 work with a MoCA connection if properly configured?---The C7000 won't work with it. You need the arris gateway.

Question 2.  If the C7000 will not work with Frontier FIOS, then can it be configured as a simple gateway to the internet and can I configure the R7000 to function as my Wi Fi router?---do you have a C7000 or a R7000? those are 2 different models. One can easily be made to work with it versus the other takes different steps.

Question 3.  I have an original Verizon Actiontec MI424WR Rev 1 Modem router will that work with Frontier FIOS?   I understand that when Frontier took over from Verizon in the Tampa Bay region it refused to buy the Verizon software and wrote its own.----You'd have to ask frontier on that one.

Re Question 2: I have the AC1900 Smart WiFi Router Model R7000 Serial number 5L62067BA1366.  What is the correct configuration steps if Frontier gets the ARRIS to see the internet?

I have both the R7000 and C7000 version 2.  Which is easier to configure to work with the ARRIS NVG468M/Q?
