Having micro-breaks while connected with wire
Hi!
As the titels says, im having micro-breaks with the wired connection to my pc. I dont notice this while on wifi or otherwise while surfin online. Only time I notice it is while playing (csgo), I lagg out for like 5s and then back to the game and it happens randomly. I dont have a modem, instead I have a wall outlett and when I connect the pc directly to the wall I dont experience any drops so it must be the router.
My hardware is R6020
Firmware V1.0.0.48
let me know if there is any other info needed.
I would really appriciate any help!

Whats on the other end of that ethernet cable?
Basically whats controlling your internet connection.

Hi plemans,
Are you reffering to my router? In that case its a netgear AC750 model no:R6020 and the router is connected directly to the wall to my internet provider so I dont have a modem.
Edit: I can also add that Ive been monitoring my network ping with ping.canbeuseful.com and it has yet not noticed any "fails" but I do get some high ping spikes, anywhare between 100-540 ms. Can this maybe be the issue since this kind of ping will probably trigger lag ingame?

Many apartments that bundle internet with, have their own router/switch running. when you add your own router to it, it causes a double nat.

that can cause lag/issues when you're cascading multiple routers.
