How do I un-register a product?

I purchased a NETGEAR AC1600 Dual Band Gigabit WiFi Router from Amazon.I needed to do a manual configuration of this router for my company's use. I could not determine how to do so, so I proceeded with the registration process in hopes that after the router was setup and registered, I could then configure it to suit our needs.

During setup, I was presented with a page that would not let me proceed unless I purchased an extended warranty. I became very upset and disappointed in Netgear so I disconnected the router and returned it. I would like this router un-registered in my name.

Further, I have instructed purchasing to remove Netgear from our approved vendor list and we will no longer consider Netgear for our networking needs.
