if people could reach tech support there wouldn't be as many posts on this community

two and a half hours into trying to get my brand new computer to connect to my brand new netgear router at 5 Ghz, with at least an hour of it consisting of trying to get ANY tech support service ANYWHERE to talk to me; the old 2.4Ghz router is going to get plugged back in, and the new one is getting returned to Amazon.

it's bad enough not letting you plug in your computer to configure your new router; not having a phone number where customers cn call you is absolutely ridiculous.

To get a hold of support, you click "mynetgear" at the top. register an account and the device from there you contact support.

We're also pretty good on helpin on here.

Would you like us to try? or have you called it quits?

If you want help, some details are needed.

    Router you bought:

    firmware on it?

What modem/gateway is it connected to:

What computer 5ghz chipset/wireless device are you using?

    where is it failing?
