I nearly got 60Mbs on an laptop that couldn't get past 45Mbs on any other firmware, thats was on 2G, auto channel. And 5G is also faster (AC Note 3). Did you do a reset right after you've installed 6.28? You would think they NETGEAR would had jumped in on that thread BUT instead they rush another POS according to some. I've been on the 1.0.6.28 longer the other and still kicking the tires.

If I could get the blue update banner to go away I'd switch back to it.

    Question again: does the ReadyShare printer works WITH the access control settings on? Doesn't work with the previous firmware from Netgear, so...

My download speed was **bleep** on 6.28 version. Back to 5.48 and happy again. Guess we need to take in alternate builds :D

I guess I did, not so sure now. After trying out AdvancedTomato and DDWRT, I am back to 1.05.48 and it's been very stable.

I will wait for a while and then upgrade.
