In R6220 netgear usb control center, there is no printer after Windows 11 upgrade

Hi all.

I am using R6220.

To use Canon G2900 inkject printer as wireless, I installed netgear usb control center on 2 laptops.

In one of them, I upgrade OS windows10 to windows11.

After upgrade, I could not see G2900 in netgear usb control center in window11 laptop.

The other laptop can print successfully.

Please tell me the solution.

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for General Router products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with older routers and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Please refer to the printers Mfr for help and support information regarding there product.

Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

    Thank you

The usual way to fix wifi printers is to find the printer maker's utility, the software that runs on your operating system. Then use that to connect the printer to the wifi.

The router just broadcasts wifi. It is then down to the printer to play ball. There isn't much that you can do on a router, beyond fixing it to a particular IP address, that affects what the printer gets up to.

Where possible, using the WPS feature can simplify things.

My Canon printer comes with an IJ Network Tool.

    Still working in Windows 11.

PS This is a generic router issue that has nothing to do with the model number. So this is as good a place as any to ask for help. No need to dive off into some rarely visited section unless you have a hardware specific issue. More people hang out here.
