Internet connection Interruption
Over the past couple of weeks I have noticed internet connection interruptions. I'm trying to track down the source of the interruptions. I started with the Netgear Nighthawk R7000 logs and foun...
- what firmware is on the router?
- what modem/gateway is it connected to?
- do the interruptions happen to all device? Just wireless devices? Just wired?
- How long do they last?
- What fixes the interruption?
Whenever I"m troubleshooting, I start at basics. IF the issue happens 1x an hour, I hardwire a pc/laptop to my modem and use it for a bit to see if that's the issue. If its not, then I connect the router back, and start testing. You also have to keep track of how often it happens, how the device was connected (wired, 2.4ghz/5gh), what fixes it, etc. Those details can help us to help you
