Internet Speed

We have a Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band WiFi Router Model R8000 and a Nighthawk X6S AC3000 Tri-Band WiFi Range Extender Model EX8000. Everything works perfect, but Spectrum just upgraded our internet speed to 300 Mbps and we are still at 100 Mbps hard wired direct from our router in to our computer. We have called Spectrum multiple times, replaced our NetGear CM500 High Speed cable modem with one of theirs, and still no change. They claim it is our router that is restricting the speed to 100 Mbps. Is this possible, and if so, how do we fix it?

Have you checked your wan/lan port statitics to see if it is indeed a port setting the speeds at 10/100mbps and not gigabit?

If so, try replacing the cables with cat 6 cables.

did you try factory resetting the router?

Make sure to leave qos, access control, traffic monitoring, and parental controls disabled.
