The last time I looked, Netgear did not support the IPv6 implementation that BT uses.

How do you have the R9000 set up? Are you using the BT Home hub for your broadband?
These are both routers. BT's kit does not support bridge (modem only) mode. With both you run the risk of of "double NAT".
