Keep the orbi or go with ax8?

Smoother and easier to use/setup/manage? Probably the orbi as its designed to be a mesh and have a router controlling it.

 

You could probably coble together a different setup with the other devices but its not going to have as seamless roamiing and you'll have to manage each device on their own. 

 

The older I get, the more I'm inclined to use devices that just work and I don't have to mess with 5 different things to get it functioning properly. Or that require a ton of messing with to troubleshoot. 

If you've already got the device, you can always try out both setups and see what works best for you. 

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the NightHawk RAX WiFi 6 Router products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with NH router products and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum.
