Latest firmware update for ex2700

Hello, I received an email from Netgear saying a new firmware update is avaible, but when I log in, and click on update firmware, it just searches for ages and doesn't show me any update. 

 

The device works fine, but is there another way for me to update the firmware. Does it do it automitically?

      Thanks, I downloaded the latest version and uploaded it myself. Thought it would fix the issue of my extender dropping out every so often but nevermind. Thanks again

        how far from the router is the extender? 

        Have you tried changing the channel the router is broadcasting on for 2.4ghz?

        2.4ghz is more sensitive to interference and so sometimes you have to change channels.
