Losing connection to 5G network
Nighthawk RAX40 5G network not working
Didnt realize when I purchased this device in March 2020, I wouldn't get Netgear support within the same year. Presently my devices are losing connection to 5G (i.e. firesticks and S20 plus phone). They'll work great for a day or so and boom, no network connection. Now the firestick will say "connected with problems" and my phone will say "checking quality" and then switch to "Internet Unavailable" I've checked to make sure firmware is up to date. I know it's not an ISP issue cause the 2G works just fine. I feel like this router may be defective and I shouldnt have to pay for support to find out. Hoping maybe I can get assistance from the fine people on this forum. Please advise of any suggestions.

What firmware version are you on?
Have you tried a factory reset and then reinstall (not from backup)? The RAX devices were pretty new and have reponded favorably to factory resets.

- rinthosLuminaryThis will sound weird but try the following:
Fresh reboot the router. Then...
1) Disable QoS if on.
2) Disable IPv6 if configured.
3) From Advanced Wireless disable: MU-MIMO
See if that helps. If not, sadly reload firmware, factory reset thr router, reconfigure, and see if that fixes it.
Also curious question..do you have Netvear Armor enabled? - plemansGuru - Experienced User
