Lost cable connections (LAN 1-4) does not work (Wireless works) on Nighthawk X4s AC2600 (R7800)

Hi There,

All my cable connections (LAN 1-4) from the router does not work suddenly  when it is connected to switch and PC. I have not touched the router beforehand. Wireless connection to PC and smartphone works well.

I have updatede Firmware from 1.0.2.80 to 1.0.2.92 and it has not made any difference.

Any constructive suggestions from forum members ? I have looked everywhere in the router setup but nothing obvious wrong. The only tech thing I have not tried is to hold the reset button - should I try ?

    The factory reset is more a "witchcraft" move than a technically informed solution, but it does seem to fix problems. It is also the first thing that Netgear support will recommend.

    Have you reset the thing?

     

    The factory reset is more a "witchcraft" move than a technically informed solution, but it does seem to fix problems. It is also the first thing that Netgear support will recommend.

      It came back after some more router booting - so maybe firmware update was a good thing.
