Machine not seen on peer to peer home network?

Model R7300DST (AC 1900)

4 computers:
3 laptops Win10 (Lenovo T61 Pro, P50 Pro, Dell Home)
1 desktop Win7Home

Problem: The T61 doesn't see anyone and no one sees the T61

Diagnostics:

1. Router Connected Devices sees IP 198.168.1.6

2. IP config /all issued on the T61 sees IPv4 192.168.0.10

3. Advanced IP Scanner sees 5 IP address .6, .8, 10, .11 and .12

Earlier this morning the router's Connected Devices saw the same 5 IP addresses as IP Scanner. When I turned off the security chip in the BIOS the router then just displayed .6

Suggestions?

Mark

  • Resolved.

I even hate to admit it but the T61 (my old laptop before my current) was still plugged into the CL modem that is bridged to the Nighthawk. I plugged it in to the router and now the T61 sees all and is seen by all.

    Thanks,

What's the IP address of the router (LAN interface)?  (ADVANCED)

    > 2. IP config /all issued on the T61 sees IPv4 192.168.0.10

198.168.1.x and 192.168.0.x are (normally) different subnets.

And what are those IP addresses?

Make sure that all these computers have Local Area Connection Status
    > Local Area Connection Properties > Internet Protocol Version 4
(TCP/IPv4) Properties thing says "Obtain an IP address automatically"?

      1. I'm attaching a screenshot of what I believe to be the LAN IP.

      2. If problem don't know what to do.

      3. In my first post, the second screenshot, the 5 IP addresses associated with Wistron Corporation

      4. YES Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) is checked off.

However, the Properties tab says zip about "Obtain an IP address automatically". Where are you seeing this? This is the what I'm looking at:
