"Media Server" tab is gone!

So, has the issue been resolved? I updated my Ac1900 today and my  "Media Server" tab is gone! Version 

R7000-V1.0.12.216.

    I Believe this feature was removed years ago. 
    This model is EoL.

     

    Get into some NAS. Once you go NAS you never go back. 

     

    Might try some 3rd party FW out there if available and see if they have support for that feature.

      It worked fine both as NAS and as a DLNA music streamer. ☺️

    thats an ancient device. You can downgrade the firmware but thats you're only option. I'd pickup a cheap pc. I snagged a used Intel N100 with 8gb of ram for $55 on the old book of face. It runs my backup for my plex server since it has quick sync. With the price of plex going up, you could use jellyfin or Emby and have a much better solution
