My R9000 is on 1.05.42 and won't find an update but I found here 1.06.46. I have downloaded it. Should I install it? Router still works great except for an occasional unexpected reboot. 1x or 2x ...
Yep, the reboots are not a big problem and sometimes goes about 2 weeks. I hate to install it and cause more problems. But I never had to do a re-setup after an install.
Sometimes it's best to factory reset and setup from scratch. Something in the router maybe mis configured or not working right. If you haven't done one in a long time, maybe over due.
What all do you have connected at the router?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.How is the wifi configured?
Also you may want to give Voxels FW for the R9000 a try as well. He's been continuing to update FW for the R9000.
