Is your role in this thread to create confusion?
There are two sets of analytics:
1. For improving QoS feature, strictly related to QoS.
2. Additional analytics added to the R7000 and described on Netgear's KB as linked above. This is what people are not happy with.
I don't know how it can be any clearer. People who are here talking about QoS and/or models that aren't the R7000 are in the wrong place.

Probably not much can be done. If your not happy disable the QoS collection feature or go with something else. Not much can be done here in the forums about this. Contact NG support and let them know your concerns.

Even Microsoft keeps track of errors and problems in windows when the computer has a problem booting up if you are scared that someone may track your internet usage your isp's can do it and what the cookies that websites place on your computer when you visit them. In the digital age private information is a endangered idea.

Most any tech company is now tracking data. Google, FB, all of them are tracking information. ISPs and shopping sites. This is now happening:
