Netgear Genie upgrade stuck at version 2.4.60 but keeps nagging me to upgrade to 2.4.62 but doesn't

I have a Netgear Nighthawk R7800 AC2600 Wifi router.

it has the latest firmware which is V 1.0.2.80

Whever I start the Netgear Genie, it tells me to upgrade to version 2.4.62

When I download that install file.. even if I delete the old version from my computer first.. and install the new version..

it STILL shows that it is version 2.4.60 and not 2.4.62, and still prompts me to upgrade.

It seems like when I download the software.. it is for 2.4.60 and not 2.4.62.  Was there a problem with 2.4.62?

2.4.62 works fine here. Where did you get it from?

I got it by clicking on the orange prompt in the Genie program itself that says "click here to upgrade".

Where did you get your's from?   The version that downloads when clicking on that orange button is version 2.4.60

Once I have tracked down a download, I use the update feature to get the latest version.

        It has always worked here.
