Netgear Nighthawk R6700v2 Disconnects Company VPN Every Several Minutes

Hi,

I'm having this frequent disconnecting issue using Nighthawk router. I see other posts that describe a method about opening a port for VPN.

1. I don't know how could I find the port number of my company VPN from my router.

2. What should I do on http://www.routerlogin.net to set up port forwarding? I don't see anywhere it asks for VPN port, only asks IP address on Port Forwarding section.

    Hi initialz23,

     

    Check with the VPN server provider for the port you need to use. When you go to port forwarding, look for Internal and external port box. Type in the port provided to you.
