Hi All - Could anyone help me - I've got a BT broadband connection with their latest router and I'm looking to buy a

Netgear Nighthawk X6 AC2200 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Extender

Can anyone confirm it will be asimple set up and will work without needing to be a technical expert?

Really appreciate any help / advice please.

BT likes to lock its modem/routers into router mode, no option for modem only.
&nbsp;
Some users resort to&nbsp;using a second router in AP mode, while others bin their HomeHub and get something more capable and controllable.

It works for many but don't use the wps method of setup. Use the installation assistant.&nbsp;What actual router from them do you have.&nbsp;

Not really. there should be a model number on the label.&nbsp;
