Netgear R7000 as repeater in a secure environment
Hello
I try to setup a R7000 as a repeater for a r8500.
Every time i try to do this, i must set the wlan security to none. From my point of view this is not ok. I would like to repeat a wlan with wpa2 security! Is this possible with my two netgear nighthawks and if yes, howto.

Install Tomato or Xwrt-Vortex and you'll get a proper repeater mode. Caveat emptor.
