That may depend on what these wifi clients are.
Try it and see.
I can't find anything in the Netgear system that claims to be a C2020. CXXX usually means that it is a cable modem/router. You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

Sorry the wrong model. It is C6220 not C2020.

No problem. I was just puzzled.
The answer is the same.
You lose nothing by trying the same SSID. Many of us do that all the time.
You may have to reboot some of the wifi clients. But who knows?
