Nighthawk AC1900 and Suddenlink Cable

I recently purchased this Modem/Router and now realize it has no HDMI output. I currently have Suddenlink and their supplied router/modem has an HDMI output to connect to the main TV. Did I purchase the wrong unit or can I use an USB-HDMI adaptor?

    None of netgears modem/router devices have an hdmi output.

    Not sure what suddenlink had for you but it sounds like a modem/router/DVR type setup. (actual model would help)

    You're not going to find something like that third party.

      Thanks for getting back. The Modem/Router they supply is a Sagemcom DGC1384 it is less than disireable. Signal is not constant and range is terrible. From what I have read in order to keep their Cable TV I need to keep their unit in place and use the nighthawk for WIFI, So coax comes into their Sagemcom and I run ethernet from it to the new Nighthawk. At this point I call Suddenlink and give them the new router MAC Address so they can provision it.

        That's not how it works.

        The sagemcom has its own modem capabilities. (plus router and dvr/pvr)

        You'd need just a standard router and connect it in access  point. You'd be able to disable the wifi on the sagemcom to reduce interference.

        So it'd go:

        sagemcom----->router (access point mode)

        Your C7000 is a modem/router combo device.

        If you're upset because you're paying rental fees for the sagemcom but need to have it, I've seen them on ebay new and used. Maybe that'd be an option to avoid the fees. No clue though. You'd need to check with your isp.
