Nighthawk AC1900 R7000 Questions

1. Does this device support dd-wrt firmware? --- Yes
2. What is the typical cycle time that Netware will support this device with firmware?
The firmware is fairly mature now and there are actually not that many problems with the firmware. The R7000 appears to be one of NetGear's most popular routers. I would expect firmware support to be supported for several more years given the number in use and the number being sold.
Good afternoon, how did you accomplish this? The zip file comes in the wrong format and cant seem to find out how to make that work. Thanks!

You are new to this thread. What router, what file did you get, and WHAT is the extension?
This is in regards to the AC1900 R7000. The firmware I am trying to flash is v380.65 from xvtx. The file extension that comes in the zip is .trx. I am being told that I need a .chk file.
