Nighthawk App Can’t Find CM1200
I’ve been unable to get the app to find my modem. I’ve had it for three months and have been able to access internet with no issues but the app still cannot find and connect to the modem. I’ve read ot...

The app does not support modems, as far as I know.

"unable" is not a useful problem description. It does not say what
you did. It does not say what happened when you did it. As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.

Regarding "cannot", see "not a useful problem description [...]",
above.

Thanks for the helpful links.

"it"? Regarding "not work", see "not a useful problem description
[...]", above.
Is there anything in the instructions for "this app" which mentions a
_modem_, or does everything discuss a _router_? I see, for example:
Nighthawk App makes it easy for you to install your router [...]

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (modem) model number,
and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read.
Look for "app". Find anything? Further reading should reveal how to
manage the modem using a web browser (not any app).

Simple, but often effective.

did with yours, then what, exactly, should I do? Fetch and install some
version of the Nighthawk App on some kind of mobile device like your
(unspecified) device, and then, _what_, exactly?> [...] the app still cannot find and connect to the modem. [...]

"exactly" mean something to you which is different from what it means to
me? Which part of "actual actions" or "actual results (error messages,

Can't see that document, either.
