Nighthawk R6700 not port forwarding

So im having massive issues where I cannot for the life of me properly port forward the Xbox Live servers for PC anymore in my Netgear router settings. which prevent me from being able to play online games completely and I have done an insane amount of steps to try to properly port it like I used to before like uninstalling my Norton, checked if everything was up to date, turning off my firewall temporarily, made sure DMZ was on, UPnP was on, checked if the address reservation on LAN set up was correct, port forwarded the correct ports as instructed, made sure IPv6 was on and none of it still worked.

BUT for some unknown reason, I resorted to using an ancient 3rd party port forwarding tool called Portmapper which magically worked on ports 3074, 53 and 80 but not the rest which is super confusing as to why this very old 3rd party tool worked to an extent.  Is there anything I may have potentially missed on the manual process and is there a reason why a 3rd party port forwarder partially worked but not the normal method?

What firmware version do you have on the device?

A number is more useful than "the latest". (It may not be by the time people read this.) There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.

It might also help if you told people what the modem is in front of this router, if there is one. The model number could be useful. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?

The reason for asking is that a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting.

Have you asked the people behind this 3rd party port forwarder? What happens if you don't use it?

      V1.0.4.120_10.0.91

From the looks of it, it looks like its an Arris MEB1100 provided to me by my ISP. It only functions as a adapter to let me plug it on the router itself. My Router is the only thing I provided myself.

Regarding this, The tool was last updated on 2014 and I have doubts they will be able to provide me information on why it somehow works on my PC partially. If I don't use it, Ports 3074, 53 and 80 get closed again.

And lastly, I made a discovery when I checked my internet port on control panel, it seems that my IPv6 connectivity says 'No internet access' which I assume heavily prevents me from forwarding successfuly even though they are on in both my router settings and on the properties section of the internet port, Do I manually need to set up to work correctly and if so, how would I go about doing it if its necessary?
