NightHawk R8500 - Odd DNS Error post-firmware upgrade
About ten days ago, I upgraded the firmware to the latest version. Rebooted the router. Since then, the PCs on my network are experiencing delays loading most web pages. aaaa
The browers displays "Hummmmmm. Can't reach this page" with a "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN" error. After a few seconds, the pages usually kick in - or a refresh usually does the trick. a
This happens on all of my PCs/devices and regardless of the browser being used.
Any ideas?
- I rolled back to the previous firmware. 1.0.2.144.

- Well it’s a temporary solution until a better/fixed firmware update is released.
And getting netgear to chime in on fixing an old ass router probably ain’t going to happen lol
But one can hope.
