Nighthawk router won’t connect to Internet
The router is connected to a Netgear cable modem.
It was activated by Xfinity.
iPhones can see the router networks, but can’t dee the Web.
Any tips on troubleshooting?
Equipment:
Netgear CM1000v2 Cable Modem Netgear R6700v3 AC1750 Smart WIFI Router.

power off the modem and the router and disconnect the coax from the modem. Make sure everything is disconnected from the router.
Leave it off for 2 minutes.
then connect the coax back to the modem and power it on.
Wait 2 minutes.
Connect the modem to the wan port on the router.
Power the router on. Give it 2 minutes.
Attempt setup on the router.
What firmware is on the router?
Do wired devices work?
