Nighthawk S8000 Switch Reports Getting "100MB Full" Speed. Gigabit Switch?

My new Nighthawk S8000 (GS808E) switch is proudly reporting all ports are running "100MB Full".  Where is the Gigabit performance I paid for?  Is there a setting I am missing in the config web server...

The answer to my question, paraphrased here..

"On my switch admin page, why don't I see an option to set the port speeds to Gigabit?  Why only 100MB?  I can't believe I bought a door stop 100MB switch for $99").

Turns out this is a NETGEAR FAQ.  No worries..

Apparently the setup doesn't acknowledge the switch is Gigabit anywhere.

You have the option to set your port speed to one of these:

    1. Auto

    2. Disable

    3. 10M half

    4. 10M full

    5. 100M half

    6. 100M full

Gigabit shows up when it wants to show up.

As the article below states -- if you set the port to "Auto" your router will attempt to connect at 1000Mbps (Gigabit).

So.. I took another look.  Sure enough..  on the switch admin home page under "PORT STATUS", it shows for port 1 (Gaming)

    "Linked Speed= 1000M full"

So all is well.. (just make sure you have at least Cat5E)

How do I change the speed and duplex mode of a port on my GS808E Nighthawk S8000 Gaming & Streaming Switch?
