NightHawk x10 r9000 wifi dropping issue post f/w update

f/w updated to 1.0.2.32 otw, now i have wifi connection issues keeps dropping every few minutes, any suggestions

  • I recommend doing a factory reset, manually loading the FW file, factory reset then set up the router from scratch using IE11 or FF.

Any wifi neighbors near buy? How many and what channels are they using?

I am not sure why the factory reset was needed, but that seemed to have improved the wifi connection issues, there is no change to my wifi surroundings and

      my config below

      2.4 ghz AUTO(8)

      5 ghz (153)

      60 ghz (2)

I did not load the F/w file as the device indicated that it was already updated

  • Can you verify if your WiFi (and wired if applicable to your environment) connections are dropping as a result of your router rebooting?  Myself and another user are experiencing this issue, and what I've discovered is that disabling Dynamic QoS has restored stability to the R9000.
