Nighthawk X6 R8000 all LEDs flashing No connection
A few months ago, we had a power outage and when the power came back, the network was down, and I found the X6 with all it's LEDs flashing like a Christmas tree (all lights in a regular pattern). It took hours, but I eventually managed to get it to reset and then set-the whole thing up again.
A couple of days ago, we lost all network, and on checking the router, I found the same again (as above) only this time, I can't get it to reset.
All lights continue to flash (see video)
It's not starting a WiFi network and it's not possible to get an IP address out of any of the LAN ports, so impossible to connect to it.
Have done the pin press 10-15 seconds reset thing about 20 or 30 times...
And have left the thing flashing away overnight to see if it fixes itself (ha ha) but nothing.
Can't get any response out of Netgear support as am a couple of months outside of warranty.
Seems like there are a LOT of similar issues being reported.
Would be very grateful if anyone could provide a solution... or maybe Netgear could respond themselves?
Otherwise, this will go in the bin and that's the end of Netgear in our office!

You can try recoving it with tftp or nmrpflash.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash

Many thanks for your response.
I tried tftp flash of latest firmware but as router appears to be in a perpetual state of reboot loop, I can’t maintain a connection long enough for the firmware to upload.
I can see the Ethernet connection come up for a fraction of a second before the unit reboots again. There seems to be no way of stopping this.
I haven’t tried the nmrpflash as that also seems to rely on a stable connection between PC and Router.
I fear I have a brick on my hands...?
Any other suggestions gratefully received.

You could try checking the power supply. Maybe its in the process of going bad.
If you have a spare supply that has the same voltage and at least the same amperage, you could try it. (check polarity as well).
And you could try nmrpflash. Maybe it'll get connection long enough to send the file.

I have the exact same problem with my previous purchase, just because it has VPN and my whole office setup is through it I dont feel like changing this. I bought the third one same router again and after 1 month ditto problem happend with this one too. I have a Multimeter, I measured the power supply and its perfectly fine stable. I have remote management disabled so can't blame the darknet.
I have support still active, but the time I am wasting 3rd time dont seems to be worth.
What is up with these flagship #Nighthawk X6 R8000 router netgear.
