OMG GUYS! FINALLY DID IT!!!!!!
My netgear wifi was giving me issue and not connecting to the 5ghz. And I had to restart my pc and or disabling the connection so it could connect withouht issue.
I did the hardcore reset. (as one of you guys mention)
This was my step.
1. Turn off everything and disconnect everything entirely, and connected again with the cables.
2. Turn the Arris modem and reset it.
3.Turn off the Netgear and reset.
4. Turn the Netgear and reset it again.
5. Connect the yellow cable to the main modem
6. Wiat for everything to boot up and issue solve
Guys thank you SO much for all the help, even though it did took me a lot to figuer it out and or understand this issue. Thanks for the advices and the ideas, they help me also to understand a bit.
I din't have to do nothing inside the Arris gateway. Now I can acess the gateway of my netgear. And din't think with logic, I just wne bananas and disconnect and did the hardcore reset. Now I will go and watch a guide to set up everything on my netgear from the gateway.
P.s. Finally! honestly thanks, thanks. I'm happy.

Well I am not that "savy" on this stuff, even lately I have been learning a lot. I try to reset the router for 30seconds to see if that would make something (as I found that solution online) but still nothing. I even went directly to the internet properties to disable IPV 6, according to the application that is supposed to be disabled, but nothing still.

Danni-Boi What kind of feature you wanted to be part of the Genie?
Can you provide more details and information?

Greetings there ElaineM
Well honestly, do not know. I just want to know if there is a "work around" the issue in which I am having towards the connection with both products. The genie and my current router. I try to understand and find some way towards my issue. I find out that apparently I had to reset the router in order to, let me access the gateway. Because that is another issue I have found with my router. I cannot access my gateway writting 192.168.1.1
Thinking about it while I write this. Would be very supportive if the model Nighthawk X8 R8500 can let itself supported with the genie app? Because I while I was trying to access it with the genie trough my phone and even downlading the application in my computer, it doesn't let me. It does tell me that in the support link, shows me if the model that I have is in the list of applicable routers using genie, in which it is, it does appear. Yet again, it also appears in the same prompt message, something about disabling the IPv6? And I have done it so. But still the application doesn't want it to be accessed.
I have also read finding online, that if for some weird case, the gateway doesn't work and neither the application... it might be the router that has some kind of malwere in is fuction. I have not try anything further.

OP, How about ditching the Genie altogether and doing everything yourself meaning you are in total control. At the same time you can use memory and cpu time Genie is robbing from your computer. Look at how much cpu time and memory space in task manager. When I have Netgear product I never bother with Genie. I can do what I want myself faster and easy. Maybe you will say my knowledge is not good enough
to do every thing myself(if it is not the case, I apologize). If you don't do things yourself, you will gain nothing to add to your knowledge base. No one is born with knowing everything. I wish NG concentrated on efficiently running firmware development rather than wasting time on Genie(my personal opinion).
For an example ASUS does not have anything like Genie but their firmware includes some handy unitilities. I always run Putty with ASUS routers to learn more about CFE and firmware in general.

Hey VE6CGX.
Yes... but for what I have gather and know, I supposed to open the gatewawy using 192.168.1.1 correct? To access the router features and do all of that?
That is the only way I know how to access the gateway in my router so I can do everything withouth using that app. But the fact that I can't even access the gateway from a browser, I do not know what else to do.
Since I have try every sort of way for me from what I have research since I find about that issue of the gateay.
