Bought what? A Netgear router? Which one?

    Visit the support pages:

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

Look for the model number on the label on the device.

Begin with the Quick Start/Installation Guide.

You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

We still do not know what you are trying to install. Nor do we know anything about what you are trying to do.

Your subject now says "Nighthawk AC 1750 WI-FI ROUTER". That is an improvement from the original "Nighthawk". But it still doesn't tell us what you have bought or what you are doing.

Have you bought a new router? You want to add it to your network?

What do you have there already? A modem of some sort?

AC1750 is not a reliable guide to the model number. Many devices come with an AC tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and other brands, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.

Did you follow any of the suggestions in my previous response?
