Nighthawk(R) X4S R7800 - Can't Open Port 1935

Hi there

I'm having problem with port forwarding on my router.

The port im trying to port forward is port 1935 on my local ip.
I can forward port 10823 used for multiplayer server in farming simulator and it works fine, people can then join my server.

I have the router after my fiber box from my provider, I can't access that (no webinterface, have to call them to make changes). But which is sat to brigde mode by my provider.

Im using Nginx RTMP server on my pc, to stream from my mobile (Streamlabs Mobile, Custom RTMP Settings) to my pc. Local it works (localip:1935/live + custom stream key), but when i do it from mobiledata it won't stream (publicIP:1935/live + custom stream key), as it says in all guides.

Firmware update is: V1.0.2.90

Hi FlicherDK, welcome to the community! We'd like to know the following.

How are you checking if the ports were successfully forwarded? What results are you getting?

    Do you have UPnP enabled?

    Has it worked before?

Have you tried any other firmware versions?

How are you checking if the ports were successfully forwarded? What results are you getting? - is there away to test the port? - I only tried the stream the RTMP server that used that port and can't connect

Do you have UPnP enabled? Yes

Has it worked before? - No, but i can open port to a game (Farming Simulator 22)

Have you tried any other firmware versions? With the one when i uptatede when i got the router a year ago.

What you call a "fiber box" looks very much like a gateway. At least, that's what Google suggests.

        Icotera i6851-00 - Google Search

If it has four Ethernet ports on the back that confirms it and you could be in "double NAT" territory, with two routers in your network.

FURRYe38 asked the question because that makes all the difference to how your network operates.

You say this thing is in bridge mode and that the ISP has to control it. That's an odd arrangement. Might be worth confirming it with them.
