NigthHawk Firmware failure

Question

Night hawk does firmware update and fails- no inrternet- no access to the router software via either ethernet cable, wiFi or app.

Hard reset does not work.

Power cycle does not work.

Technical support have no clue.

Unit is about 2 years old was working perfectly fine no issues until the manufacuterer decided to update the firmware.

So it is out of warrantee and unless I purchase a support 'thingy' Netgear refuses to help.

Looks like another one of these scams to make money.

What are the leds on it doing?&nbsp;What firmware were you updating to?You can try recoving it with tftp or nmrpflash.&nbsp;&nbsp;are you on windows? if so, follow this guidehttps://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP&nbsp;just make sure you enable tftp&nbsp;https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10&nbsp;and here's a video walk through using a tftp client.
