Do you have any security options enabled on your Guest network or is it open?

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

I have mine online and just checked with both GN Radios enabled using WPA2 and AES, my iphone got internet with out having to enable "Allow guests to see and access Local Network".

    FW i'm using is https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-Wi-Fi-5-AC-Routers/New-R9000-Firmware-Version-1-0-5-42-Released/td-p/2245574/jump-to/first-unread-message

I have upgraded the firmware on the R9000 router to the latest version (1.0.5.42), have rebooted the router several times, powered off and back on, and devices/computers still have no internet access. All the devices and computers connect to the Guest Network just fine, but they have no internet access. The smartphones show no internet available, and computers show the same thing. The Secured Wi-Fi network works fine, and the Guest Network works if I check the box "Allow guests to see each other and access my local network" which defeats the purpose of protecting your local network. I do not use the router for DHCP, and DNS is configured properly with the ISP's DNS Servers. My Orbi router does not have this issue but the NightHawk R9000 does.

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? A complete pull of the power adapters for a period of time after the factory reset then walk thru the setup wizard and setup from scratch. Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.
