No internet when connecting cable modem CM500 with router AC1000
I've rented a cable modem Panoramic from Cox. Now I've just bought modem CM500 and router AC1000.
When I connect Cox modem to wifi router AC1000, I could receive internet signal from the wifi router.
Then I replace Cox modem by the modem CM500, and connect the wifi router AC1000, There's no internet signal! but if I connect a cable from the modem CM500 directly to my computer, the internet is turning on.
Could you instruct me how to adjust something in my cable modem CM500 or in my wifi router AC1000 to be able to have internet?
Try this.
Disconnect everything from the modem and the router and power them both off. (even coax from modem)
Wait 2 minutes (could be up to 30 minutes i've heard on cox).
Then connect the coax back to the modem and power it on.
Wait 2 minutes to fully boot.
Connect the lan port on the modem to the wan port on the router with a new ethernet cable.
Power the router on and wait 2 minutes for it to fully boot.
Attempt setup on it.

A couple things.
1. AC1000 is a speed, not a model.
2. did your isp provision your new modem?
3. Can the ISP "see" the new modem on their network?

- First, my router is Nighthawk AC1000, R6080
- Second my modem MC500 is an Cox-approved cable modem
_ Lastly , I already activate my modem MC500 via Cox activating website and it's been identified and accepted by Cox, I even can receive the internet signal via land line cable when I connect the modem CM500 directly with my computer...
