Non-manual method to replace Netgear R7000 with Netgear R8500

Firmware Version
V1.0.2.80_1.0.71

I just bought the X8 router with the intention of replacing my R7000 with it. My R7000 has a lot of address reservations set in it, and I wonder if there is a non-manual way to get the address reservations from the R7000 to the R8500. Because I saw a notice upon installation of the R8500 that it was checking for another router that it might import any importable settings (my assumption was this might only work for Netgear router replacing a Netgear router).

Another thought was saving the config on the R7000 and importing that with the R8500, but that depends on whether the R8500 is designed to do this correctly and without corruption.

Any info that would ease the transition would be helpful.

Thanks

PS: BTW, I didn't find anything in the documentation that addresses replacing a Netgear router with another Netgear router.

    Unfortunately, there's no other way.

These 2 routers are different and therefore you can't use the backup and restore feature where you can just simply save the current config file and upload it as you desire.
