Please add support to R7300 DST to enable Bridge Mode & Repeating Mode

I want to extend my wireless network from my main router (Netgear R7000) to another router I have on hand, a Netgear R7300 DST. They both seem very similar, however, I just noticed that the R7300 DST does not support creating a wireless ethernet bridge. It only supports AP mode which means I need to run a really long ethernet cable.

I know that they are both AC1900 routers and I would like to request that Bridge Mode and Repeating Mode be added as well.

Thanks!

Then you're a little screwed as the R7300dst is an end of life product. And if there isn't any 3rd party firmware for it, there isn't much for changes.

You could connect it using its powerline connection?

Or even just hardwire it in with ethernet

You could try swapping them. The R7000 supports more modes and aftermarket firmware. You could use the r7300 as the primary router and the r7000 as the repeater.

Or if you can hardwire in the r7300, you could run it in access point mode.

Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately that won't work since I am running FreshTomato on my R7000. The stock Netgear firmware doesn't provide the features I need. I cannot flash FreshTomato to my R7300.
